Kirsten, a German citizen, had finally decided to take the big step: starting a new life in Italy.
But one of the first things she had to do turned out to be more complicated than expected: opening a bank account.

Without fluent Italian and faced with rigid banking policies, she found herself stuck and frustrated.
Her first attempt failed: the bank simply refused to open the account because, in their view, she didn’t understand the language well enough.
An absurd situation—but sadly, not uncommon for foreigners.
And that’s when I entered the picture (well… actually, my mum did 😄).
She happened to be at the bank that day, overheard what was going on, and immediately called me. From that moment, Kirsten and I were connected—and everything started to move forward.
Here’s how I helped her:

- I handled the communication with the branch to make sure all documents and requirements were in place;
- I scheduled an appointment with a bank officer who spoke English, so Kirsten could complete the process smoothly and confidently.
What felt like an impossible hurdle turned into a positive and empowering experience.
Today, Kiki finally has her Italian bank account and can move forward with her plans to start a new life on Lake Iseo—with more peace of mind and freedom.
And the best part? A beautiful friendship was born 🌼
